Goldberg Spears Scott Steiner At Legends Event

Is Da Man preparing for a comeback to the squared circle?

It has been over a decade since Goldberg and Scott Steiner have been seen in a WWE ring but the former WCW stars continue to make headlines. While Big Poppa Pump has been busy in TNA and on the independent circuit (as well as allegedly threatening to murder Hulk Hogan), Goldberg has stayed away from the ring. Not only has he not had a match in years, he's been pretty vocal about doing any physical activity between the ropes, unless it's for the right price. Either the organisers of the Legends of Wrestling event (which took place at Citi Field in New York City on June 7th) had a boatload of cash, or the 48-year-old has changed his stance on wrestling. Goldberg had a confrontation with Steiner following his match with Rob Van Dam, which ended when he unleashed a huge spear on the Genetic Freak and then hit a Jackhammer on Doc Gallows (formerly WWE's Luke Gallows). It was a memorable ending to a weekend of festivities that also featured Bret Hart, Ric Flair and other legends of the business engaging with fans. Goldberg has flirted with the possibility of wrestling one more match so that his son can get to see him wrestle live. Whether that actually happens and whether it takes place at WrestleMania or on an independent show, remains to be seen.
