How Brock Lesnar Will Appear More Often As WWE Champion

The WWE Champion could be appearing more often than you might think.

Brock Lesnar Wwe Champion Wallpaper Brock Lesnar is the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion that only appears on television once in a while. His deal has called for him to wrestle only four times per year and appear on television about 20 times per year. However, now that he's WWE Champion it appears as though we're going to see more of him. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar's situation has changed. There is apparently a deal in place in terms of the money and the agreement is that WWE can book him as champion for Monday Raw events as well as PPVs based on when they want to use him. This means that he can work every PPV until WrestleMania if that's what WWE wants to do. Since we're so used to seeing the WWE Title on the line at every PPV (as long as the champion is healthy), that could be something WWE wants to do going forward. The agreement in place allows WWE to increase Lesnar's dates on a pro-rated basis. It doesn't say if he gets more money for working more shows although that's likely the case. It's up to WWE basically. Do they want to have PPVs without the WWE Champ or do they want to save their money by not booking Lesnar? His presence is good for business. No question about it. The PPV schedule on the road to WrestleMania is as follows: Night of Champions in September, Hell in a Cell in October, Survivor Series in November, TLC in December, Royal Rumble in January, Elimination Chamber in February and WrestleMania in March. As we have mentioned previously, Lesnar's deal with WWE expires at WrestleMania 31 in March although there's a chance he may stay longer than that. This Lesnar news is a good sign because it means the WWE Champion will have more of a presence on television than we expected. He's booked for the Raw before Night of Champions and the PPV itself against John Cena, but after that we don't know his schedule. He could be booked for Hell in a Cell although if WWE did matches like Reigns vs. Triple H and Rollins vs. Ambrose in the cell that night then maybe Lesnar won't be on it. Lesnar wrestling at Survivor Series seems likely just because it's one of the "big four" PPVs although in recent years it doesn't feel as special. They could have him skip TLC since it's not a major show. A match at the Royal Rumble seems likely. Elimination Chamber is a possibility too. Obviously he'll be wrestling at WrestleMania 31 in what could be a WWE Title loss to Roman Reigns. That's what a lot of us are expecting anyway. What WWE has to do is get their babyfaces ready to the point where they can look like believable WWE Title contenders. It's not going to be easy, but if they bring back Batista as a face at Survivor Series or Royal Rumble then that's a big match they can do. Whoever it is doesn't have to beat Lesnar. They would just be there to lose and it would benefit Lesnar in a major way to get more wins under his belt. Keep Reigns away from him until WrestleMania, though. That has to be built up like a special moment. On another Lesnar note, a few weeks ago there was a report that Lesnar was going to appear at a Smackdown taping in Wichita on October 21 and there was even a commercial for it. It's been confirmed by Meltzer that it won't be happening. Apparently Lesnar is not scheduled for any Smackdown tapings. The thinking was that maybe WWE was going to do it because Smackdown is moving to Thursdays, but it doesn't appear to be likely at this point. We will continue to update on whatever schedule Lesnar has going forward.
