It's been three months since Sasha Banks had her last match in WWE at WrestleMania 35. The day after, she walked out, leaving everyone to wonder if she will ever return. Since then, she has posted cryptic messages on social media, adding to the speculation that she was indeed leaving. However, due to contractual obligations, Sasha would not be able to do anything wrestling-related outside of WWE, having just signed a new contract last year. What really led up to this and, if Sasha Banks does return to WWE, how should she be booked going forward? How can her Boss character and WWE career be redeemed after years of being misused and mishandled by WWE management?

When Sasha Banks was signed to a developmental contract in 2012, she was virtually unknown to the mainstream audience of professional wrestling. Having previously wrestled on the independent scene using her real name Mercedes, Sasha was looking to become a household name in WWE. Starting out as just another female face with great in-ring talent on the NXT roster, she finally found a character that clicked and resonated with fans: The Boss. With this newfound attitude, Sasha was eventually pushed and elevated to the top of the NXT women's division, ultimately becoming NXT Women's Champion.

Evan has been a wrestling fan since the age of seven, a time when children should not have been watching wrestling. That's right...the attitude era!! He loves talking about wrestling, writing about wrestling, and fantasizing about working for a wrestling company one day. Aside from that, he loves all things pop culture: movies, music, and TV. He also loves to read, travel (even though he doesn't do much of it), and explore new things about this crazy ass world.
