WWE will look to recycle its potential star-making format at WrestleMania 36 by once again pitting Universal Champion Brock Lesnar against another hopeful star looking to claim the gold for themselves. This time, it's the winner of the 2020 Royal Rumble: the 'Scottish Psychopath' Drew McIntyre.

A match that much of the WWE Universe is actually looking forward to as, for the first time in quite some time, it's less obvious as who's actually going to win. Will Drew finally make Mr. McMahon's decade-old prophecy come true and become a world champion, or will Lesnar demolish another young hopeful?

Well, according to a new report, it's looking like it could be the former of those two outcomes. Yes, WrestleNews.co's Paul Davis has revealed that the current plan is for McIntyre to slay 'The Beast' on the Grandest Stage of Them All and carry the Universal Championship into the summer when he will feud with 'The Architect' Seth Rollins. He then claimed it's unlikely that Vince will change his mind because, according to his source:

"Vince likes everything about him and thinks he represents the company well when he does media appearances. He looks good and talks good and that is what Vince is looking for. Drew has already established a relationship with Vince like most top guys do."

Again, plans could always change but this does seem like a plausible outcome to the pair's 'Mania showdown and, in all honesty, it's only a matter of time before Rollins finds his way back into the championship picture.
