HUGE Star Announced For WWE SmackDown 20th Anniversary Special

WWE are going big for their first show on FOX...

SmackDown 20th Anniversary

Brock Lesnar is set to appear on the SmackDown 20th anniversary special, which will take place on Friday 4th October, according to an announcement made by the Staples Center who will be hosting the event.

The show, which coincides with SmackDown's move to Friday nights on Fox, will also feature "every major Superstar from RAW and SmackDown" and there are confirmed matches between Roman Reigns & Samoa Joe, with The New Day also facing Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan & Rowan.

WWE will be keen to attract viewers for their Friday night debut, not only to impress Fox and justify their huge TV deal, but also because AEW will have launched their weekly TV show just a couple of days prior.

In an attempt to catch the eye of lapsed fans, akin to the Raw Reunion, WWE are filling the show with legend appearances. They have already confirmed that Hall of Famers including Hulk Hogan, Sting, Ric Flair, Booker T, Lita, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, Bill Goldberg, Trish Stratus, Mark Henry, and Jerry Lawler will be involved, and despite no official announcement The Undertaker is across numerous pieces of promotional material.

Maybe we'll even see a return for the giant SmackDown fist?!
