Hulk Hogan's 10 Worst Acting Performances

10. Gremlins 2: The New Batch & Muppets From Space

It might be a bit of a cheat to include movies where Hogan played himself, so we're doubling up to start things off. Hogan's made a number of cameos over the years, but these two stick out most memorably, probably because the franchises in question are as unforgettable as they are cheesy. Who doesn't love the Muppets? If you don't you have no heart, or maybe it's no soul. So the fact that Hogan made a cameo in Muppets From Space (well before the more successful recent Muppet movies) is fantastic. Hogan kind of looks like an oversized Muppet himself after all. And Gremlins 2? We have a soft spot in our hearts for that movie. We saw it in theatres. WE were fans of the original. We were really looking forward to the second one, and we'll admit it - we loved it. We loved the Spider-Gremlin, and we've got a pretty decent case of arachnophobia. We loved the Talk-Show Gremlin, and yeah, we loved it when the usher went down into the theatre and prompted Hulk Hogan, still at the peak of his popularity, to run a promo on the Gremlin hordes in the movie, turning the flick just a little bit meta. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esR019e-uMQ In truth, Gremlins 2 hasn't aged all that well, and Hogan's cameo is corny, a reminder that what works in the world of professional wrestling generally doesn't work anywhere else. When you're a kid? It works great. As a sarcastic adult? Not so much.
