Having already made a number of appearances for the company since May, including a recent loss to the new Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo in non-title action, Kimber Lee has officially signed across the dotted line of a long-term Impact Wrestling contract. The news was initially broken by The Hype Magazine.

Making her debut on the 5 May edition of Impact on an installment of Locker Room Talk, Lee immediately deemed herself 'The Crown Jewel' of the Knockouts division. The reigning SHIMMER Champion hasn't really done anything of note since her arrival, although she did have an unsuccessful challenge at Jordynne Grace's Knockouts Championship.

A former NXT star under the name of Abbey Laith, this is Kimber Lee's first real opportunity at performing for a major televised promotion seeing as she was never utilised in the black and gold brand. Her biggest claim to fame during this time was making it to the quarterfinals of the inaugural Mae Young Classic before falling at the feet of Mercedes Martinez.

Needless to say, Impact's Knockouts division is one of the most stacked divisions in wrestling today. From established names like Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie to the 2020 arrivals of Tasha Steelz, Nevaeh, and of course 'The Virtuosa', the division has never been better. Kimber Lee officially signing a contract only adds another layer to its depth.
