No matter how great he may have been in the late '90s, Rob Van Dam shouldn't be winning against stars more than ten years younger than him. It's as simple as that.
Moose has been RVD's prime target as of late, although it would be fair to say that it's actually the other way about, and that Moose has been targeting the ECW legend. The former Grand Champion has a point though - names of the past shouldn't be featured in such high-profile roles over the younger talent.
Sure, it's fine to have him around as a veteran of the business, but at least have him do the job on one occasion.
Prediction: Moose has essentially been on a downward spiral for far too long now, and that needs to change at Slammiversary. If RVD wins, then where does Moose go from there?
