Is Sheamus Latest WWE Injury?

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus could be the latest WWE superstar to suffer an injury setback. Earlier today the Irishman posted a picture to Twitter, showing him sporting a cast along with the message 'You know the celebrations went well when you wake up in a cast... any ideas how it got there?'. Sheamus posted the picture during what looked like mid-workout (note the headphones and sweaty face) and the nature of the message sounds jokey in nature, which suggests that it might not be serious. Regardless, considering WWE's recent injury plague - which has pinned Seth Rollins, John Cena, Cesaro, Randy Orton and others to the sidelines - the fact that he's now wearing a cast is sure to be unwelcome news, as far as WWE are concerned. Sheamus' push has decreased in the month since he lost the WWE World Heavyweight Title to Roman Reigns, with the focus being shifted towards the impending showdown between The Big Dog and new WWE Champ Triple H. However, despite no longer being the man on top Sheamus is still a featured performer and an important part of the show. He's still relied on to work main event matches on TV and house shows. The last thing WWE need right now is another name star unable to compete. Their roster is thin enough as it is, so they'll be hoping that Sheamus is fighting fit.
