Jake The Snake Roberts Wants Your Money To Buy TNA And P**s Off Vince McMahon

jake-roberts Former WWE and WCW wrestler Jake 'The Snake' Roberts has told Black Man Inc that he would be interested in buying TNA Impact Wrestling if it is in fact for sale and that he would be a legit rival for Vince McMahon and the WWE. Roberts, who has recently moved out of Diamond Dallas Page's Accountability Crib where he was being treated alongside fellow former WWE star Scott 'Razor Ramon' Hall for issues pertaining to substance abuse, was being interviewed about his new attitude on life since sobering up as well as his intentions to win a spot in the 2014 Royal Rumble next January. When talk turned to the news that TNA - where Roberts once worked - was allegedly coming up for sale Roberts had the following comments to make:
"God, it needs to. I mean, I watched for 10, 12, 15 years, however long it's been out there and they suck. I guarantee you if I get the opportunity, in a matter of six months I'll be pissing Vince McMahon off. My numbers will beat his, I guarantee you that."
According to the site, Roberts has since started up an online petition to raise the cash to buy the company on a site called Indiegogo.com and has asked fans to donate to the cause. Exactly how well TNA would do under the guidance of Jake is anyone's guess but it is no secret that when sober he was considered one of the sport's greatest minds. Opportunities to work with WWE in a creative role have eluded him however given his lack of reliability when it comes to his drinking etc. Having Jake 'The Snake' in charge of TNA could certainly be no worse than having the Carter's in charge as they are seemingly lost as to how to save the company. News broke of a possible sale of TNA this week but both Dixie and Janice Carter have since gone on record stating no such thing has ever been discussed. Exactly who should be believed - the Carter's or the internet - remains to be seen but it is most likely that the Carter's are attempting damage control rather than actually stating the facts. Former Smashing Pumpkins vocalist Billy Corgan has also expressed an interest in buying the company.
