Since All Elite Wrestling announced its inception on New Year's Eve back in December, the pro wrestling world has been buzzing about the new promotion being helmed by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks, and featuring top talents such as Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley, fka Dean Ambrose.
In addition to the creation of the promotion, AEW announced earlier this year that the company has landed a television deal with TNT, and will begin airing a weekly pro wrestling TV show beginning this fall.
All Elite Wrestling Senior Advisor and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently guested on The Steve Austin Show, and during the interview JR revealed new details regarding AEW's highly anticipated TV debut on TNT.
During the interview, Ross revealed the show will begin airing in early October, and while JR believes the show will air on Wednesday nights, that time slot remains unconfirmed. Ross added, "Tuesdays and Thursdays are big basketball nights on TNT, and we sure as hell don't want to dance around their basketball schedule," h/t to Sportskeeda for the transcription.
Next up for AEW is the company's Fight For The Fallen event, which will stream live and for free via the B/R Live app, and will take place on July 13th, just one night before WWE's Extreme Rules PPV.
