All Elite Wrestling's latest signing Jim Ross was speaking on WFAN Radio over the weekend, and the legendary announcer let slip a few juicy details about the upstart promotion - including when it is set to launch, and where.

Ross specified that the Shahid Khan funded promotion is scheduled to start this October - and that it won't be secreted away on the high numbers of cable:

"I've been anointed the voice of a brand that's gonna be debuting on national television on a major cable network," said Ross. "It's a network we can all find."

In February, the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reported that AEW was in the process of negotiating the best wrestling TV deal outside of WWE since the days of WCW. "It's real money, real stations," he stated at the time, noting that meetings had went "real well."

It seems they went exceptionally well judging from Ross' comments. Now the company's brand new announcer has revealed the first details about AEW's debut, we can probably expect to learn more about the promotion's new home in the coming weeks. Watch this space.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
