John Cena To Wrestle Shinsuke Nakamura In Hawaii?
Kevin Owens vs Brock Lesnar also advertised for June 29's probable live Network special.
WWE will be running their first show in Honolulu, Hawaii in six years on June 29.
Expected by most to be a live event special broadcast on the WWE Network, several big names have already been advertised for the show, including John Cena, Brock Lesnar and Shinsuke Nakamura.
During Monday night's edition of RAW, local advertisements in Honolulu advertised two HUGE matches for the show, John Cena versus Shinsuke Nakamura and Kevin Owens versus Brock Lesnar.
Obviously, these are PPV caliber matches. Heck, these are matches that could easily be featured as marquee bouts on a future WrestleMania.
Last summer, WWE aired a live network special from Japan that showcased a mixture of WWE and NXT talent, as well as a headlining appearance from Brock Lesnar that led to it being dubbed "Beast In The East".
It was a huge success for the WWE Network and since then, WWE has continued to mix-in some NXT talent with their main roster for further live network specials.
That looks set to continue here with Nakamura's appearance, along with NXT's Asuka also being advertised for the show.
Interestingly, WWE Women's Champion Charlotte is also booked for the show. With these two being the only women announced for the event thus far, there has also been speculation that they will be wrestling each other (though that's not confirmed) which would be another WrestleMania calibre match.
