John Cena vs Dean Ambrose At WWE Hell In A Cell - Winner Gets Rollins

A match with Seth Rollins is on the line as John Cena faces Dean Ambrose at Hell in a Cell.

It has been expected to be happening for several weeks and now it's official. At WWE Hell in a Cell on October 26th, John Cena will face Dean Ambrose in a singles match. The winner of that contest gets to face Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell. The matches were announced at the end of Raw by WWE's on screen Chief Operating Offer Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon. The match between Cena and Ambrose will match two babyfaces against each other. Just because they are both faces doesn't mean they are necessarily friends. Cena's been having issues with Ambrose for weeks now just because they both have wanted to get their hands on Rollins. This week's Raw ended with Ambrose laying out Cena with a double arm DDT that Cena wasn't expecting. Previous reports about Hell in a Cell have stated that while the winner of Cena vs. Ambrose gets Rollins in the main event, the loser might have to face Randy Orton. That wasn't announced yet although it makes a lot of sense just because Orton will likely need a match at the show too. That one was rumored to be inside Hell in a Cell although until it's official, take it as just a rumor for now. Based on the crowd reactions, Ambrose should beat Cena in order to face Rollins in the main event. That's the match people really want to see inside Hell in a Cell with no chance for Rollins to escape Ambrose. However, Cena usually wins matches unless there's interference or it's against Brock Lesnar, so fans may not get their Ambrose vs. Rollins wish. As we have reported previously, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will not be a part of the show. He hasn't been seen since Night Of Champions and there's no official word on when he might wrestle again. There have been rumors that it might not be until the Royal Rumble in January. No other matches are announced for Hell in a Cell. It would appear as though WWE is building towards Sheamus vs. Miz for the US Title, Ziggler vs. Cesaro for the IC Title, Goldust/Stardust vs. Usos for the Tag Titles, AJ Lee vs. Paige for the Divas Title and perhaps Rusev vs. Big Show to round out the card. We will continue to update you on other matches added to Hell in a Cell whenever WWE announces them. They still have three more episodes of Smackdown and two more weeks of Raw, so most likely they'll announce most of them by next week. At least we know our main event now.
