John Cena To Work A Program With Rusev?

The Bulgarian Brute may be Cena's next dominating opponent.

If speculation and rumor are to be believed, WWE already has another angle in the works for John Cena. The company€™s resident good guy and number one star is set to take on Brock Lesnar at this Sunday€™s Night of Champions pay-per-view, in a rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, according to F4W Online, there are already plans in place for Cena following the PPV event. Reportedly, the idea of putting Cena and Rusev in a program together has been tossed around and is a definite possibility following the championship rematch this Sunday. Furthermore, it€™s been speculated that featuring Rusev in the final segment of this past Monday€™s Raw was a deliberate choice by management. Apparently, the segment was less about the ongoing Rusev and Mark Henry feud and more about establishing the Bulgarian Brute as the next dominant force for Cena to take on. There are, however, some conflicting reports about what Cena will be up to following Night of Champions. According to some sources, there is a possibility that the 15-time World Champion will be taking some time off. However, nothing has been confirmed at this time. Cena€™s purported program with Rusev -- or even his rumored time away from television -- seems to be a strong indication that the Cenation leader will not be going over Brock Lesnar this Sunday. However, nothing is ever concrete in the world of professional wrestling and anything is possible. With that said, don€™t be surprised to see Cena mix it up with the dominating Rusev and his cohort, Lana, following this Sunday€™s PPV.
