John Cena’s 10 Failures As WWE's Franchise Star

'Cena sucks' - they're probably onto something.

John Cena is arguably one of the biggest names in the entire wrestling industry, on the same level as guys like Stone Cold, The Rock and Hulk Hogan. He is a 15-time WWE Heavyweight Champion, a two time Royal Rumble winner and has main evented multiple WrestleManias. He debuted in 2002 against Kurt Angle, and three years later won his first WWE Championship against JBL at WrestleMania 21 and thus began his decade long run at the top of the business, an unstoppable franchise, an absolute money making machine that makes Vince McMahon salivate from the mouth. He is Mr. WWE, and every up-and-coming WWE superstar wants to take his spot at the top of the company, something Cena has fought very hard to keep. That being said, not everything he has done in his time in WWE has been successful, not everything he touches turns to gold, whether it€™s main event flops against R-Truth and The Miz, his inability to branch out into other entertainment outside of wrestling successfully or maybe the fact he€™s divided fans like no one before and is one of the most hated babyface in the history of the company. Here are ten of John Cena€™s biggest failures in the WWE since becoming one of the biggest names in sports entertainment.
