Jon Moxley has been a busy man as of late. Despite only just handing back his WWE locker key around a month ago amid suspicions that his departure angle was actually a clever work, the man formerly known as Dean Ambrose has already appeared at AEW's Double Or Nothing PPV in Las Vegas.

In a coup that has delighted fans, Moxley signed a multi-year contract with Tony Khan's company and is set to debut at Fyter Fest on June 29th before also heading to Northeast Wrestling for a match against Pentagon, Jr in August. Given his ties to AEW, you could forgive him for taking it easy during this lighter formative period for the company, but he's clearly not one to rest on his laurels, because he's got another big gig on his forthcoming CV too.

Jon Moxley is coming to NJPW.

In uncharacteristically social media savvy behaviour (something that Moxley seems to have added to his armoury since leaving WWE, given his sudden Instagram presence and his tweeting), he revealed himself to be the subject at the centre of NJPW's "Time's Up" teaser marketing.

He tweeted out a video tagging New Japan's Twitter handle, seemingly targeting IWGP US champion Juice Robinson and confirming his appearance for the company on June 5th, 2019. You'll already know that's the day of the finals of the Best of the Super Juniors, if you're keeping track of important upcoming wrestling dates for your calendar. And it just got an awful lot more important.

Carrying a bladed knuckle-duster and a broken bottle, Mox is clearly signalling his intent and NJPW have now confirmed the fateful day for Robinson in a tweet of their own...

They confirm that Moxley will appear at Ryogoku Sumo Hall on June 5th on the same card that will see Hiroshi Tanahashi taking on Jay White in his return match. It will be broadcast live, with English commentary on NJPW World.
