Kane Set To Return On Monday's WWE Raw

Will the mask be back?

Kane is set to return on Monday's Raw, Dave Meltzer is reporting at f4wonline. Although he will be at the show, it isn't fully confirmed that he'll be appearing on screen, but there has to be a really good chance he'll be getting used. The last time fans saw Kane, he was being injured by Brock Lesnar. The angle also had Seth Rollins making fun of the fallen giant, and kicking out at him. Presumably that narrative will follow on, with Kane coming back as a babyface and confronting Rollins. Given that he's now out of the Authority, maybe he'll be back wearing his iconic red mask. It doesn't really make much sense to still be in his corporate gear, not after what Rollins did to him. The other thing that makes sense for Kane is a match with Brock Lesnar. The Beast put him on the injured shelf and is feuding with his brother The Undertaker. It would have been far more intriguing to see Kane versus Lesnar at the Madison Square Garden special in October, but instead WWE are going with Big Show versus Lesnar. That booking is a pretty good indication that WWE want Kane back as a babyface.
