AEW are doing their utmost to keep us entertained in spite of the tricky circumstances currently afflicting the world, and a tasty match just announced for this Wednesday's episode of Dynamite will go some way in aiding that.

Current AAA Mega Champion Kenny Omega will defend the belt in the company for the very first time, opposite The Inner Circle's Sammy Guevara. 'The Cleaner' snagged the Mexican gold from Lucha Bros. star and AEW colleague Ray Fenix at AAA Heroes Inmortales XIII last October.

In addition to his singles title, Omega is also one half of the current AEW tag champions, alongside Adam Page.

This week's Dynamite was originally to feature a Blood and Guts cage match, taking after WarGames, but it has been indefinitely postponed to reflect the current medical situation. It's prohibited for ten or more people to congregate at a time - an edict which would be broken by the 11-man match, even before taking into account camera crew.

Instead, we'll see Omega's championship contest, as well as Cody vs. Jimmy Havoc and a showdown between Matt Hardy and Chris Jericho.

The location of the empty arena show is not confirmed, though it is expected to emanate from Jacksonville, FL's Daily's Place Ampitheater.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
