Kevin Owens Responds After Wife's Instagram Account Is Hacked
The former US Champion lashes out at false infidelity claims.
Kevin Owens' name was all over social media last night. It started early in the evening, when his wife's Instagram posted a lengthy series of messages insinuating that KO had cheated on her. Said posts have since been deleted, but most can still be found here.
These incendiary messages set social media ablaze for a few hours, but while many were understandably confused by the situation, KO's wife, Karina, soon poured cold water on the situation. Her Instagram post explained that she'd been hacked, and that KO had deleted his own account after someone had attempted to get into it too.
Unsurprisingly, this led to the former Universal Championship lashing out at the culprits:-
Cybersecurity has been a major issue for WWE this year, with the company suffering a large data leak that saw over three million fans' addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses spilled to hackers back in July. Several wrestlers have also had sensitive photos and information leaked in 2017, prompting the company to hold mandatory classes on online security.
Kevin and Karina Owens had nothing leaked, but this is a gross invasion of their privacy regardless, and may lead to the engaging star adjusting his social media strategy.
