We had written yesterday that there was much speculation that Kota Ibushi was headed to WWE full-time following his work this week at the NXT television tapings, but there was no confirmation on the matter. Ibushi had previously commented he had unfinished business in Japan.

Ibushi has long been considered one of the top performers in the world. His match with Shinsuke Nakamura at NJPW's WrestleKingdom 9 was a five star masterpiece, and he will undoubtedly continue to showcase his abilities to the WWE audience throughout the CWC.

WWE reportedly also has some of the other CWC competitors on their radar for future deals, most notably U.K. sensation Zack Sabre, Jr, as well as Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado, Akira Tozawa, and Jack Gallagher.
