Lana has had her say on how WWE are handling her character. She posted the above message to Instagram, lashing out at fans who have criticised WWE's booking in recent weeks. She then quickly deleted it. Fans are angry that she's gone from being a powerful woman into what resembles a loved up teenager. She was belittled by her ex-boyfriend Rusev and came across as weak. Now she's romantically involved with Dolph Ziggler, and does little other than posing at ringside during his matches. Her main role at the minute is to kiss Ziggler before and after he is in the ring. It is fair enough for fans to criticise the booking, because it has indeed been awful. Even if there's some grander plan, it has still sucked. What could be the case is the storyline has simply been put on ice until Rusev is back from his injury. That's why Lana is perhaps lashing out at the fans, as she wants them to wait to see what happens in the long run. However, she herself probably knows the booking has been atrocious. The only way it can be saved at this point is if it was a ruse all along and she's still with Rusev. They could then break her away as a singles star properly in another six months. In the shorter term, it looks like we're going to get some Lana versus Summer Rae matches.
