AEW's debut show Double or Nothing attracted some 13,000 or so (20,000 if you believe Nick Jackson's WWE-jibing joke) fervent wrestling fans to Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena last night - and they were joined by some very familiar faces.

WWE Hall of Famer and all round top bloke Mark Henry, despite having a job for life in Stamford, was backstage on behalf of Sirius FM's Busted Open podcast, which he hosts alongside Bully Ray and Dave LeGreca. He interviewed Cody about AEW's commitment to a diverse roster.

Other wrestlers in attendance in Nevada included IMPACT's Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux, as well as veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter.

Shahid Khan, father of AEW CEO Tony and billionaire owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, could be spotted in the crowd during the show, as could Mick Foley's daughter Noelle. Mike Tyson was also backstage for the event. Las Vegas, as it so often is, was the place to be last night.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
