Marty Scurll made a shock appearance at last night's NWA Into The Fire pay-per-view.

After the company's Worlds' Champion Nick Aldis had successfully defended his strap against the challenge of James Storm in a two-out-of-three falls contest, the 'Villain' made his way to the ring to confront the victor.

The two shared an intense stare-down as the show went off the air.

Pictures briefly resurfaced, and it looked as though Scurll was about to cut a promo on Aldis, before Into The Fire faded to black once more.

The current Ring Of Honor Six-Man tag champion automatically became one of the hottest free agents in the business when his contract with ROH expired on 30 November. His next move is unclear at present, though it is widely assumed he will link up with his Elite brethren in AEW in the new year.

Despite no longer being tied to the company, Scurll did appear at ROH's Final Battle on Friday, during which he lost a tag match alongside Flip Gordon to Flamita & Bandido.

Given how Into The Fire ended, it's a virtual guarantee Scurll's promo will air on the next episode of NWA Powerrr, ahead of a programme with Aldis.
