Mick Foley Criticizes Full Sail Crowd For Ruining NXT

Does the Hall of Famer have a point?

In a topic that has been making the rounds lately, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley became the latest person to weigh in on the NXT crowd that frequents Full Sail University. The group has fallen under criticism from those who view them as a nuisance that distracts from the show, while others claim their reactions are actually damaging to the learning process of the developmental talents. Some people see the Full Sail crowd as being more concerned with "getting themselves over" than following the action taking place in the ring, a concern that has been leveled at various WWE audiences over the past several years, particularly the post-WrestleMania crowds. Foley took to Twitter to voice his displeasure with the fans, going so far as to say that they are disrespecting the wrestlers.

Those @WWENXT fans at @FullSail who THINK the show is about THEM, disrespect the the wrestlers - and make the show far less fun to watch.

He also went on to claim that he has stopped watching the show entirely, a product that he was once an outspoken advocate for.

I've stopped watching #NXT because of it. https://t.co/FVg4BTDIwq

Where do you stand on the issue of the Full Sail fans? Do you believe they detract from the show or should paying customers be free to express themselves however they like?
