Mick Foley Possibly Returning To WWE As Raw General Manager

Foley as the new GM?

There is a good chance that WWE fans will see Mick Foley as Raw General Manager in 2015. Mick has revealed on his Facebook that he thinks WWE will contact him about the role next year and he thinks he'll probably accept the position. His recent surprise return on Raw appears to have made him keen on a regular WWE role. He did a one off mic segment with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose ahead of Hell In A Cell, proving that he's still one of the better promo guys in the business. "That appearance energised me, and made me feel like I just might have something to offer #WWE on a more regular basis" he stated on Facebook. "I think there is a chance I'll be asked about becoming GM within the next year - and if asked... I think I'd do it." That statement seems to suggest that this has already been brought up. We could see it play out soon on WWE Television, with the Authority likely to end after losing to Team Cena at Survivor Series. On the other hand, this could just be Mick Foley being Mick Foley. He is vastly inconsistent on the things he posts on social media. You also have the fact that not everyone in WWE is a fan of him. Mick has made various unwise disparaging remarks about WWE over the last year, and many of those remarks were unfair and baseless. He was particularly scathing about the WWE booking of Daniel Bryan in the first half of 2014, which many in WWE were unhappy about.
