All Elite Wrestling's Chris Jericho revealed earlier this week that he had tested positive for COVID-19 in "maybe September," stating that he was asymptomatic and spent 10 days in isolation after three consecutive tests came out with the same result.

Dave Meltzer has come through with an update on what went down. Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, he confirmed that while Nick Jackson's battle with the virus lasted longer, they both caught it at around the same time. This was also close to Lance Archer's own positive test, which the 'Murderhawk Monster' revealed on 23 September.

Around 11 or 12 September is when Jericho discovered he had the illness currently ravaging the planet, according to Meltzer. Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp and Spectrum Sports 360's Jon Alba had previously published a report stating that several wrestlers who had attended AEW's television tapings on 9 September had tested positive, though not necessarily at the tapings themselves.

Meltzer added that Jericho was away from the 11 to 23 September. 'Le Champion' thinks he caught the virus from a family member, with Meltzer reiterating that Jericho suffered from no symptoms, and neither did his family members.
