NJPW Announces 2018 Best Of The Super Juniors Line-Up
The juniors time to shine is nearly upon us...
New Japan Pro Wrestling have officially announced the full line-up for this year's Best of the Super Juniors 25 tournament.
The A Block features current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and winner of the 2016 tournament Will Ospreay, and one half of the current Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Yoshinobu Kanemaru. Rounding out the rest of the block are former two-time BOSJ winner Tiger Mask IV, the returning ACH, BOSJ debutant Flip Gordon, Roppongi3K's YOH, Los Ingobernables de Japon member BUSHI, and Bullet Club's newest member Taiji Ishimori.
Meanwhile, the B Block consists of the other half of the Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions El Desperado, alongside Bullet Club's Marty Scurll, current CMLL Lightweight Champion Dragon Lee, 2012 winner Ryusuke Taguchi, LIJ's Hiromu Takahashi, the other half of Roppongi3K SHO, Chris Sabin, and the reigning BOSJ champion KUSHIDA.
The 25th edition of the tournament features a handful of surprises. ACH and Chris Sabin are both making their returns to New Japan, while Flip Gordon competes in his first Best of the Super Juniors as he continues his mission to get booked on All In.
The tournament begins on Friday May 18th, with shows running up until the finals on Monday June 4th.
