Kevin Nash and Scott Hall have been added to the February 27 show at Madison Square Garden. The show is being promoted around 'Hulk Hogan Appreciation Night', so it seems likely that we'll see some sort of Hogan / Hall / Nash reunion spot in which they reform the NWO for one night only. Hogan's appearance on the show was announced some time ago, with the idea that he's a legend in the old New York territory and this is his return to MSG after over a decade away. Obviously the NWO will not be wrestling, so it will be more of a nostalgia spot, probably with all three in NWO t-shirts and cutting promos. Also confirmed for the show's top billing is Rusev vs. John Cena for the U.S. title, and Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt. The undercard will feature Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan vs Seth Rollins and Kane, in addition to Chris Jericho hosting The Highlight Reel. It is of course technically just a house show. However, it is very much a supershow, as WWE view New York as their home territory and Vince McMahon personally holds special bond to Madison Square Garden. He sees it as his family arena. New York City is one of the most populated and richest urban areas in the world, so it always makes sense for WWE to load any Madison Square Garden card. The reason filming doesn't take place there is due to costs with setting up in the building. The margins are already quite tight as it isn't a cheap building to book, but WWE should get a good crowd for the show on February 27th.
