NXT North American Championship To Be Defended At EVOLVE 107

Adam Cole's first major defence of the NXT North American Championship has been announced. The Undisputed Era's leader will be returning to EVOLVE to defend the gold against an opponent set to be named this coming Monday at the EVOLVE 107 event on 24 June.
Cole is no stranger to wrestling inside an EVOLVE ring. He competed on every show from EVOLVE 3 to 6, though ha a rather disappointing record of one win and three losses, with his sole win coming over fellow NXT talent Johnny Gargano. Cole left not long after his debut to put more focus towards his career in Ring Of Honor.
Over recent years, it's become less uncommon to see contracted WWE stars appearing for other promotions. Thanks to their working relationships with various independent companies across the globe, WWE's talent have appeared for the likes of Insane Championship Wrestling, PROGRESS Wrestling, and the outfit in question, EVOLVE. This agreement doesn't show any signs of slowing down either, with breakout Welsh star Nixon Newell (now Tegan Nox) scheduled for a return to PROGRESS at their upcoming Chapter 71 event.
