WWE has announced the fourth NXT UK: TakeOver live special will be held in Dublin, Ireland's 3Arena on 26 April 2020.

They broke the news via NXT UK's official Twitter account in the small hours of this morning:-

An indoor amphitheatre with a capacity of up to 13,000, the 3Arena has become a regular stop on WWE's European tours in recent years, with the promotion running the building twice in 2019. There's currently no word on what attendance the building will be calibrated for but the 3Arena is significantly larger than Blackpool's Empress Ballroom, which hosted the last NXT UK TakeOver on 12 January.

That event was a roaring success, with bouts like Tyler Bate vs. Jordan Devlin drawing widespread critical acclaim, a big Undisputed Era invasion angle to close the show, and a white-hot crowd throughout the night.

That this event is doing down in Dublin could be interesting for Mr. Devlin. 'The Irish Ace' is the current WWE Cruiserweight Champion and is guaranteed a hearty reception, no matter what he ends up doing on the card, so perhaps the bookers will use this to position him in one of the night's bigger matches.
