Paul Heyman's 7 Biggest Real-Life Hustles

It's no coincidence that Heyman named his online presence “Heyman Hustle.

Recently released to rave reviews, the "Ladies And Gentlemen, My Name Is Paul Heyman" DVD release from WWE is built around a tremendous documentary on Heyman. In terms of quality, it's up there with their ECW and CM Punk documentaries. It doesn't pull most of its punches when it comes to Heyman's flaws over the years. For a number of reasons, Heyman has developed a less than stellar relationship over the years. Most notably, wrestlers in ECW had a terribly hard time getting paid at the end, either going without any paychecks or getting them and seeing them bounce when they went to the bank. Some wrestlers had to learn when the ECW bank account would have cash in it so they could try to deposit their checks, while others got paid by third parties, like the videotape dealer who set up shop at every ECW show. It's no coincidence that Heyman named his online presence €œHeyman Hustle.€ For better or worse, he's embraced the image that he cultivated in real life during the life of ECW as part of his wrestling character in recent years. He's uniquely gifted at the powers of persuasion, and has pulled off a number of impressive stunts with those abilities throughout his wrestling career. These are some of the most notable ones.
