Spoiler warning for this week's episode of AEW Rampage too.

All Elite Wrestling may be looking to put together a match between CM Punk and Eddie Kingston for Full Gear 2021, if the spoilers for this Friday's episode of Rampage are anything to go by.

Kingston and Punk got into it in a backstage segment shortly after the former's loss to Bryan Danielson in the World Title Eliminator tournament. They had to be separated as they bickered back and forth, so it looks like AEW is building towards something between the two.

Punk is conspicuous by his absence on the Full Gear 2021 card at the moment. The pay-per-view goes down in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Saturday 13 November, with six matches announced at the time of writing.

Kingston and Punk have never shared a wrestling ring before. If it happens, this will be a first-time match.

The following bouts were also taped for Rampage:-
