WWE's next pay-per-view, TLC 2020, goes down on 20 December, and while there's plenty of ground to cover between now and then, it looks like the promotion already has an opponent in mind for Drew McIntyre.

Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online, current plans involve Braun Strowman challenging for McIntyre's WWE Championship at TLC 2020.

'The Monster Among Men' isn't currently involved in the immediate title hunt. To his rage, Braun was omitted from a mini-contendership tournament that began on this week's episode of Raw, having been escorted from the building after putting his hands on WWE Official Adam Pearce. Six wrestlers then competed in the tournament, with AJ Styles, Keith Lee, and Riddle triumphing over Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, and Sheamus respectively.

The winners meet in a Triple Threat to determine McIntyre's challenger next week. With Strowman seemingly earmarked for TLC 2020, it is likely that Drew vs. Styles, Riddle, or Lee will likely go down on television.

McIntyre regained the WWE Championship from Orton on last week's episode of Raw, before falling in a non-title champion vs. champion match with Roman Reigns at Survivor Series 2020.
