Randy Orton simply doesn't give two f*cks anymore, that much is evident. Not only has 'The Viper' been making social media waves these last few weeks with repeated overtures to WWE's rivals AEW, but he's also apparently been throwing his sizeable weight around backstage in favour of a couple of his buddies.

Orton paired with one of WWE's most underutilised tag teams, The Revival, earlier this year in his continued quest to take the WWE Championship from Kofi Kingston. According to insiders speaking to Fightful Select, the third-generation superstar wanted the trio's association to continue beyond Clash of Champions, personally petitioning Vince McMahon about a potential faction.

Despite the veteran's locker-room sway, management didn't like his idea, and the acts were separated come October's superstar draft. Orton currently represents Raw, whilst The Revival are faring much better on Friday's as SmackDown's current tag team champions.

Nevertheless, they could be happier. Stoking the fires of rumour, Dash Wilder posted an image to Twitter of he and Scott Dawson in the arms of their wrestle dad Randy, accompanied by the caption "What WILL be. Eventually."

Orton, relishing this latest bear to poke, simply replied: "2020".

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
