11. December To Dismember - 2006

This pay-per-view exclusive to WWE’s watered-down ECW brand has the unfortunate distinction of being main evented by the worst Elimination Chamber match of all time.

Before December to Dismember, Eric Bischoff’s barbaric invention had only been used four times and produced fantastic matches on each occasion. This was before the magnitude of the stipulation had been diminished by the pay-per-view of the same name, so expectations were high, especially with the caveat of it being an Extreme Elimination Chamber match.

This could have worked had ECW’s original hardcore roster not been diluted by WWE guys such as Test, Big Show, and Bobby Lashley, who was the last man standing to win his first ECW Championship. As it was, it was a mess and the undercard - aside from a decent Hardy Boyz versus MNM tag opener - was terribly thin on star power and match quality.

Prior to the launch of the WWE Network in 2014, December to Dismember held the lowest buyrate in WWE pay-per-view history with only 90,000 buys. That’s 90,000 poor souls.
