Renee Young Drawing Interest From ESPN And Fox

Renee Young has been a breath of fresh air for World Wrestling Entertainment since signing with the company in 2012. She has been a backstage interview, host of PPV panels and helped on commentary. She's impressed a lot of people so much that according to the Wrestling Observer she is drawing interest from media giants ESPN and Fox. Both channels are interested in signing her to a deal to be a sportscaster whenever her WWE deal expires. Young has a history of working in sports. Prior to working for WWE, she worked for The Score television network in Canada using her real name Renee Paquette doing all kinds of sports related work for them. She was most known for doing a WWE talk show called Aftermath with Arda Ocal (now working for WWE as announcer Kyle Edwards) and former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas. The trio was quite popular and with the channel showing WWE content exclusively in Canada, it was a no brainer to sign her up. She's a sports fan that loves wrestling and also has a background performing comedy as well. Now that Renee has developed in WWE, it's no surprise that ESPN and Fox Sports 1 would want her to be on their networks. ESPN is the biggest sports network in the world by far while Fox Sports 1 is still trying to grow after launching a few years ago. They both have a lot of money to offer too. What could lead to Young staying with WWE is that she has been dating WWE superstar Dean Ambrose for a couple of years and if she left WWE it would likely put a strain on her relationship with him. It will be nice for Renee to have options. If she knows that there's interest in her outside of WWE, perhaps she could use it as leverage to get more money from WWE as well as more opportunity leading to her doing commentary on Raw or Smackdown. There's no doubt that Renee has a bright future in whatever she does. WWE likely wants to keep her for years to come, but they may not be able to.
