IMPACT Wrestling star W. Morrissey made a good impression on a lot of people when he appeared on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite - including WWE officials.

Speaking on the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, Andrew Zarian stated that following Morrissey's losing effort against Wardlow, Zarian received several messages from people curious about when the former Big Cass' IMPACT contract comes to an end.

While he refrained from outright stating that WWE is going to re-sign Morrissey, Zarian stated that the promotion is "definitely impressed by him." "Did you see this f***ing guy?!" was one of the messages Zarian received while Morrissey was making his entrance.

Introduced as Wardlow's mystery opponent as part of an ongoing storyline with MJF, Morrissey fought for around six minutes, falling to a single powerbomb. It was his first appearance on AEW television since the promotion's inception.

A WWE wrestler from 2011 to 2018, when he worked primarily as Big Cass, Morrissey has been with IMPACT since debuting in April 2021. The seven-footer has previously been reluctant to share details on the length of his contract with the Anthem-helmed promotion, having previously stated that he wants to become the face of IMPACT.
