WWE claim “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Iron Sheik and Dusty Rhodes are the current confirmed names for the WWE Legends House ‘reality’ show that will air on the new Network. Stephanie McMahon was speaking to the SportsBusines Journal and confirmed the names. The WWE Network is expected to launch in line with WrestleMania 28 from April 1st. At least one more name is expected to be confirmed for the Legends House soon as production is imminent.
Interestingly Dusty Rhodes this week said on Twitter that he will not be appearing on the show. Either this is him swerving the fans as he will appear or the WWE’s deal for him to appear on the show has broken down.
Meanwhile, McMahon has told the Journal that along with launching the WWE Network in 2012 as being one of her goals, so is eliminating bullying;
“In 2012, my personal goal is to help stop the bullying epidemic that is affecting our children. As a mother of three girls, I am proud to represent the WWE as part of our Be a STAR initiative to help encourage students, teachers and parents to “be a star” by showing tolerance and respect. My professional goal is to help support the launch of the WWE network by providing a 24/7, interactive, creative experience that is worthy of the passion of our fans.”
