The impending war between WWE and AEW is just around the corner, but the former's top star Roman Reigns - as you might have expected - has absolutely no plans of defecting to be with former Shield brother Jon Moxley.

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Reigns recently put pen to paper on a brand new WWE deal. The exact details of the contract are not yet known, but it's expected to keep him with the company for at least "a few years more."

The news hardly comes as a surprise. Reigns has been WWE's de facto headline attraction since his 2015 Royal Rumble victory, going on to headline four consecutive WrestleManias. Had he not been forced to give up his Universal Championship following his leukaemia recurrence last October, it's likely that would have been five.

The Big Dog thankfully announced back in February that his cancer had went into remission, and he returned to action for one last run with The Shield, before embarking on a feud with Drew McIntyre.

Reigns recently starred in box office leader Hobbs and Shaw alongside cousin The Rock, and was announced as WWE2K20's cover star, confirming his enduring credentials as WWE's main man.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
