Roman Reigns could miss Survivor Series through illness, according to PWInsider's Mike Johnson.

The 32-year-old has been absent from WWE programming over recent weeks owing to a viral infection he picked up on the eve of last month's Tables, Ladders & Chairs.

And it is now feared that he will be forced to sit out the company's next pay-per-view on November 19, despite originally being penciled in for a spot on Raw's five-man team.

Should Roman not recover in time, Johnson expects Jason Jordan to take his place in the match, teaming up with storyline father Kurt Angle for the first time in the process.

So far, the only member of Angle's side who has been officially confirmed - apart from the GM himself - is Braun Strowman.

It was variously reported last week that the final three members would be Roman, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe, although it looks like these plans have now been thrown into uncertainty.

Their SmackDown opponents, meanwhile, have already finalised four of their five-man line-up, with Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode joining commissioner Shane McMahon.

The final member of Team Blue will be one of AJ Styles and Rusev.
