Ruby Soho Shoots On Working With Ronda Rousey In WWE

Current AEW star Ruby Soho was asked about working with Ronda Rousey in WWE during a recent interview with Women's Wrestling Talk. Soho, who has made a hot start to her All Elite career and is surely a future AEW Women's Champion, said that wrestling Ronda was "so much fun".

The pair had several matches on Raw and at the 2019 Elimination Chamber pay-per-view during their respective stays in WWE. None of them were particularly long, but Ruby loved every second and called Rousey's passion "super infectious".

Soho especially liked challenging herself to approach matches a different way - she knew she wasn't going to get a lot of licks in against the former MMA fighter, so Ruby had to pick her spots and structure bouts logically. That was exciting to her after so many years of working standard back-and-forth matches.

The pair became fast friends after working together too. Rousey regularly DMs Ruby, and Soho is thankful to Ronda for bringing her to "a whole new level of thinking about wrestling". That's high praise indeed, and probably unexpected considering their WWE matches were pretty much squashes.
