Sasha Banks & Charlotte Scheduled For WWE Raw Monday

The NXT diva duo of NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks and Charlotte are booked for Raw and Smackdown this coming week, according to a report from PWInsider. A few days ago, the story was that they would appear at some point after Battleground to help Paige against the "Team Bella" trio of Nikki Bella, Brie Bella and Alicia Fox. The idea was that it would lead to a six diva tag match at Summerslam. That's still likely going to happen, but WWE probably had creative meetings to bring the divas up prior to Battleground on July 19. While there is no diva match announced for Battleground at this moment, the current diva storyline is very lame, so new blood is definitely needed. What they could do is debut Charlotte and Sasha, say they are there to be in Paige's corner for a Divas Title match against Nikki and that way they can save the six diva tag match for SummerSlam.

Charlotte and Sasha have worked live events on the main roster with Charlotte even working a match on Raw against Natalya last December. They even had a match against each other on Main Event last December, although nether woman has made her official debut on the main roster. Next week on NXT, there's a Women's Title match with Banks defending the title against Charlotte in what will likely be their last match in NXT together. It was taped about a month ago and said to be a classic.
