Sasha Banks' name was all over wrestling media last week, with new takes on reports that 'The Boss' had tried to quit WWE over WrestleMania 35 weekend dominating the news almost every day.

This looks set to continue as we head towards WWE's grand reshuffle, the Superstar Shake-Up, which fans shouldn't expect the now-former Women's Tag Team Champion to be part of.

Per Brad Shepard of the Oh, You Didn't Know Wrestling Show:-

That this story comes from a single sources means a touch of cynicism should be applied, though Shepard is a former WWE writer and an industry insider with a solid track record when it comes to stories like this. It's also a totally believable turn of events given the current situation with Banks.

'The Boss' was reportedly frustrated with WWE's last-minute decision to have her and Bayley lose the Women's Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania, leading to her apparent resignation request. WWE have given her time off to think about the situation, hence why Sasha missed last week's Raw after 'Mania, and there's currently no word on when she might return to television.

We'll keep you updated on this situation as it develops.
