Sting Could Be Wrestling More Than Once For WWE

Slight hope for Sting Vs The Undertaker.

The feeling within WWE is that Sting will be wrestling more than just "one more match", states a report at PWInsider. This is encouraging news for fans who were disappointed that Sting's WWE debut involved Triple H. The hopes for a long time had been for a Sting Vs The Undertaker match. If this latest news is true, if Sting is going to do more than one match, then perhaps we will still Sting and Undertaker go at it. This would be contrary to initial reports from the Wrestling Observer that Sting was only coming in for one match. What WWE could do is run Sting Vs Triple H at Royal Rumble. At the conclusion of that match, The Undertaker could return and point at the WrestleMania 31 sign. However, at this stage, the PWInsider report should be taken with some degree of caution. It isn't certain and you have to consider that Sting is 55 years old. Bouncing from a major match at the Rumble to another big match at WrestleMania is ambitious. Another scenario could be that Sting's WWE deal is for two years. He would wrestle Triple H at WrestleMania 31 and then work with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32. Think about it, Undertaker rests up this year and then returns for Mania 32 in his home state of Texas. The event would be in the 100,000 capacity Cowboys Stadium - a truly fitting venue for the Icon of WCW vs the Phenom of WWE. That could explain why The Undertaker has made no official statement on retirement. Perhaps he is just skipping 2015 to rehab his physical pains, with a big farewell in 2016 planned as his last match.
