9. Jake "The Snake" Roberts
Jake was way over with the fans when he was a face, and maybe even a little more so when he was a heel. Besides being pretty much the first wrestler to use the DDT Roberts just had one of those personalities that was needed in order to be successful in the business. In addition to brining his pet snake Damian to the ring (which he would often throw on top of his defeated opponents) he had some spectacular feuds with Rick Rude, Ted DiBiase, and Randy Savage that showcased his many abilities. Oddly enough he never held a single championship of any kind in the WWF/WWE (aside from stealing DiBiases Million Dollar Belt) and to my knowledge he never even had any title shots for any of the belts. He was one of the rare few who wasnt at least given the Intercontinental Championship at one point (which was sort of a consolation prize since Hogan wouldnt drop the belt) and I am puzzled as to why someone as talented and popular as Roberts was at one time that he didnt at least have one or two world championship runs.
