PWInsider are reporting that The Dudley Boyz have agreed on a new contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Their previous deal was just a one-year deal, and as that was soon to be up both sides quickly worked out an agreement that benefited everyone.

Bubba Ray and D-Von were drafted to RAW last week and are expected to continue in a mostly enhancement role, working with younger tag teams and helping new stars get over. Both men have made it clear via social media that they are more than happy with this role, a refreshing sign of clarity if ever there was one.

When the most decorated tag team in the sport returned to WWE last August there were a lot of question marks as to how long they would stick around, but it seems as though they may very well find themselves in WWE until the end of their respective careers now.

Whether this leads to a 10th WWE Tag Team Championship win remains to be seen, but with an already overflowing championship cabinet I'm sure the boys from Dudleyville aren't exactly bothered by the mathematical beauty of round numbers.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
