The Fiend DESTROYS Jerry Lawler On WWE Raw

Bray Wyatt obliterates another legend in first appearance since SummerSlam.

Bray Wyatt's 'Fiend' persona made his (its?) first appearance since SummerSlam 2019 on last night's WWE Raw, destroying his latest legendary victim in Jerry 'The King' Lawler.

Lawler was supposed to be hosting an episode of King's Court starring newly-minted heel Sasha Banks. He hit the ring for the segment to commence when Wyatt's lighting effects hit, prompting the Memphis legend to retreat up the ramp. There was no safety for him there, though.

'The Fiend' rose up behind Lawler on the stage, downing him with the Mandible Claw. Lawler's lights went out as the arena's shifted back and forth, and Wyatt cackled to loud "yowie wowie!" chants from the audience, before making his leave. A gang of referees eventually showed up to help 'King' to the back.

WWE.com have since reported on the attack, writing that Lawler “reportedly left the arena under supervision following the incident.” All part of the work, obviously.

This is the latest in a long string of out-of-nowhere 'Fiend' attacks, with Lawler's fellow WWE Hall-of-Famers Mick Foley and Kurt Angle both tasting his Claw in recent weeks. Where he goes next remains to be seen. He's on fire at the moment, though.
