In one of the more disappointing details from what many considered to be a lackluster WrestleMania, fans were deprived of a cameo from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at this year's 'grandaddy of them all' in Orlando, Florida.

Despite transitioning from being one of the biggest stars in the wrestling industry to an equally hot property in Hollywood, The Rock had still managed to appear at the previous six Manias, whether it was in a wrestling role or just to cut a promo and fire up the crowd.

But this year's extravaganza went without an appearance from 'The Great One'. The truth behind the reason The Rock didn't make it to Orlando for the big event? He was filming his HBO series "Ballers".

In a recent interview at the world premiere of his new film "Baywatch", Johnson told Chris Van Vliet:

"No, I didn't get a chance to go. I was shooting at that time. We were just wrapping up Ballers in LA, so I didn't get a chance to make it."
