The Undertaker Confirmed For WWE WrestleMania 31 Match

The Undertaker will wrestle against Bray Wyatt.

The Undertaker will wrestle Bray Wyatt at WWE's WrestleMania 31. The match was set up with an angle at Fastlane, when The Undertaker's music and entrance played out in the arena. A casket was brought to ringside and it emerged that Bray Wyatt was inside. The fiendish superstar then cut a promo, ending with the words €œI am Bray Wyatt, the new face of fear. At WrestleMania I will claim the soul of The Undertaker.€ That makes it official. The Undertaker will be wrestling Wyatt on March 29th in Santa Clara. It isn't like WWE would shoot this angle if there was any chance of Taker not working the match. Presumably he has passed his physical and is ready to go. An appearance on Raw to accept Wyatt's challenge could be imminent. One question that is circulating, is in regards to the casket that Wyatt appeared from at Fastlane. Is this a clue that Wyatt versus The Undertaker will be a casket match? There's certainly a possibility. The Undertaker is old and worn down, so a gimmick like the casket could help him work shortcuts into the Mania match. A prop helps to take away attention from pure wrestling. However, a casket match is a woeful and outdated gimmick. Surely WWE will go with something more straightforward. Bray is an astute in-ring worker and is capable of helping The Undertaker to a solid one on one match. Let's not write The Undertaker off either, he's as experienced as they come and has a history of rising to the occasion. The belief is that last year's dismal effort against Lesnar was a blip. The Undertaker suffered an early concussion which limited his ability to work. The 21 year streak was brought to an unceremonious end. The Undertaker's return is perhaps as much motivated by not wanting to end his career on such a sour note. Against Bray Wyatt, he can have a very good match at next month's Mania showcase.
